The Historic Ultra Distance Race Returns for the Fourth Consecutive Year!
Sparta City Ultra returns in 2026 with new challenges for those seeking the next level in endurance and self-transcendence. A race in the heart of historic Sparta, on a course that bridges past and present!

• 24-hour race

• 12-hour race

• 6-hour race

Loop course within the city, 822 meters in length.

Spartathlon Qualifier

The event is an official qualifying race for the SPARTATHLON.
The qualifying criteria covered are:

✅ Participation and performance in the 24-hour or 12-hour race.
✅ Completion of 100 miles within 21 hours for men or 22 hours for women.

The only urban ultra race in Greece

An ultra race taking place exclusively within the urban fabric of the city of Sparta, with history accompanying you in every lap.
